Did Solange Copy Nini?

Solange Knowles recently put out a new song and a new video called "Losing You" and many say its similarities in her song to Nini's song "Lost Without You" The beat is obviously different as solo goes for a more 80's kind of sound, but the lyrics are the question. While its true that solo clearly has her own style in the song and the lyrics aren't word for word, it does seem like she took Nini's words and made them in her own way similar to paraphrasing. Although the song is blowing up, which is something she hasn't seen in a while since she's been quite distant from the music game for a while now, many say her first comeback hit is stolen. My team took a close listen to both songs over and over and at first they heard no resemblance, but after a few more listens, they agree that the beat is her own, but her lyrics are eerily similar to that of Nini. SOLO quickly rushed to twitter to smash down the rumors of her stealing lyrics and she tweeted "Since I was 15 years old when I started in this game, I never once believed in copying other people's material, I prefer to be original the way God intended and I do me the way I see fit, I'm not afraid to be different and I proved that in so many ways over the years, so as far as me stealing anything from anyone, its just impossible, I don't give a shit what similarities you hear, I hear similarities all the time in artists work, music is recycled music is sampled its a never ending game of passing down stuff deal with it, that song is mine and those lyrics were written on paper by me end of story!" Many say although she posted that tweet, she is lying and just doesn't want to get into any drama with Nini. Then what made it even worse was that her mom was asked if she think her daughter paraphrased the lyrics and she said "Its really not my place to speak on that, she as an artist has to be able to deal with accusations like this, whether good or bad, after listening to her song it seems similar, very similar, but I guess things aren't always what they seem" Solo went to twitter once again, this time bashing her mom and she tweeted "@mommy, wow really! you cant defend your own fucking daughter, how dare you say some stupid shit like that?? you're trying to cover up but I known you for 26 years I know how you really feel, you think I stole her song don't you, well you can go to hell too mama!!!" Tina replied to her saying "Solange please stop acting like a brat, you're not 10 years old anymore grow up, its that time, you're 26 years old act like it, if you know you didn't steal anything than that's all that matters stop worrying about what others think and do you like you always say. You always have been the one that gives so much problems but now its time to stand up and be a woman!" Solo did not respond to her. Nini also did not address this situation as of yet, but even some of her artists like KC for example feel that its eerily similar. What do you guys think? She has a show tonight in Bristol Pennsylvania and we think the special guests will be the beautiful Mona L as well as Lola Monroe and Selena Gomez but we aren't sure yet, but Ill let you guys know!
