NiNi Takes Manhattan

Last night, NiNi did her 2nd make-up show in New York, this time Manhattan. The show began at 8pm and fans began lining up around 6:30 and being accepted in around 7:15. We weren't able to make the show but here are the details we have for you. Firstly, since someone smuggled in a video camera and recorded her Brooklyn performance, everyone was checked thoroughly before being allowed in,  and that included metal detectors so no video of last night's show is available. She once again took her fans on a trip down memory lane performing her old career breakout classic songs when she was known simply as "Nisha" before "NiNi" or "Queen" came into play. Hits such as "Dream Love" "Don't Stop Me" "DJ Turn It Up" and  "Get Like Me" were favorites and she showed so much energy during those performances. She performed songs from "The Truth" (2011) and "Dream Love" (2009) as well as new songs from "Rize Of The Queen/Dope" and "24". She didn't perform the "Legends" song and she didn't use the PAC and Left Eye Holograms at this show. She also didn't fly across the stadium at this show. The special guest was none other then her queen buddy (yup reunited) who performed their semi-new reggae song "Wind It Up" with her as well as their still so popular hit "Cant See Me' (Jay was not at the show, he was backtracked) The video to that song played on a backdrop screen in back of them. NiNi shocked everyone when she was performing the song "My Sisters Keeper" from her 2012 album of the same name, she was singing and her voice began to break up a little and tears rolled down her cheeks while she was singing. Her voice was quivering, but she didn't miss a beat and she hit those high notes perfectly with those famous set of lungs that she has. The crowd went wild. That is the first time anyone has ever seen NiNi get emotional while singing a slow song (Too bad we didn't see it) Many say it was the highlight of the night and she was cute (O....K) We wont deny it though, NiNi can make almost anything cute right. The show lasted until 10:08,  8 minutes past the originally scheduled time of 10 and she did her famous explosion and disappearing act when it was over after she screamed 'I LOVE YOU MANHATTAN" The crowd was wild chanting her name, and the beat to "Say My Name" (by NiNi not B) began playing as images of NiNi flashed by on the backsreeen. Then she allowed fans who had backstage passes to come back to get their signings. The backstage signings started at around 10:30 and was completed around 11:45. She did over 3,700 signings and 3,700 pictures with fans without any problems. Police and security presence were HEAVY inside and outside the building and many blocks were blocked off for her causing a major traffic jam. After the signings were over NiNi left and the clean up began. By 1am the streets and the stadium was empty, but streets were still blocked off and it was still traffic because of it.
